For this Dabbler event, I would like to share some fun. Working with color and grids, we will explore how these can interact and create images that evoke, rather than represent an idea or concept that we can visualize. There are no strict rules. We create by instinct.

About Laura Hagar
For Laura, art has been a passion since childhood. She majored in Fine Arts at the
University of Maryland (BFA), exploring various art forms and focusing on drawing, oil
painting, sculpture and printmaking. Studying the history of art from ancient to modern has
given her an appreciation of the various and rich ways that artists have expressed
themselves throughout the centuries. One of her favorite pastimes is immersing herself in
an art museum for an entire day.
After retiring and moving to Colorado in 2019, she joined the LAA, where she has met
wonderful artists with whom she shares ideas, support and comradery. She now serves as
Co-Treasurer of the LAA Board.
